A STRONG PLATFORM

It was a real pleasure to welcome 225 registered delegates from 47 nations for our mid-year meeting in Chelsea, London, from 17-19 May. This was the first time World Sailing’s stakeholders were together since the annual conference in Sarasota, Florida, USA, last November and we should not underestimate the value of the face to face meetings.

It was an important meeting for World Sailing. The Board of Directors, the Events Committee, Equipment Committee and Council and the main decision-making body of the International Federation all met and key discussions were held in order to make the decisions that impact
