Bromeliad

MATERIALS

Paper:

I use 300 gsm Arches Hot Pressed watercolour paper. I stretch larger sheets using special stretching tape onto board. For smaller work, I use Arches Hot Pressed 300gsm watercolour pads which I find I don’t need to stretch. Sometimes I will also use the watercolour blocks. It really depends on what I’m painting and my mood. Hot pressed watercolour is always used because of the ability to reproduce extremely fine detail.

Brushes:

I like Winsor & Newton Sceptre Gold II Sable/Synthetic brushes and also Winsor
