Hannah McVicar’s botanical prints are both lively and exceptional. In one example, jaunty teasel heads intertwine with frilly stems of fennel, almost as if engaging in a dance. “I love my work to be recognisable and for my plants to have character, so that people can relate my illustrations back to me,” says the Bristol-based botanical illustrator and printmaker.
