Many generations have left their mark, and for the past 40 years, Angelika, the Dowager Countess Cawdor, has been making her own artistic contribution to its historic walled gardens and peaceful woodland walks.
Second wife to Hugh, the 6th Earl Cawdor, Angelika, who was born in Czechoslovakia and came to Cawdor via Paris, and what was then Rhodesia, worked on ideas for both house and garden with her husband in the years prior to his death in 1993. Since then she has continued to care for his legacy.
