Tall ship travel
This summer’s adventure was by tall ship: first on the Norwegian Sørlandet, then home on our own Swan. I joined Sørlandet in Fredrikstadt, on the south-east coast of Norway. The river bend was tall with masts, from stately sail-training ships like the Polish Mir through smaller vessels like the Ocean Youth Training Rona down to local yachts, all come for the party. The quay bustled with stalls and strollers.
