GOING DUTCH

Make the change when you are in control, not when the situation is controlling you. That’s what I’ve always been led to believe.

My wife Carol and I have been sailing together since 1979. We have covered more than 60,000 sea miles from the Norwegian Arctic Circle to Roquefort in South West France and with most of the Baltic thrown in for good measure. We have also transited the Dutch Canals, the Kiel Canal, The Göta Canal and part of the Dalsland and Säffle Canals. We knew we liked “ditch-crawling”.
