Forefathers imagined an independent APA

Before Gov. Andrew Cuomo fills the expired terms on the Adirondack Park Agency board, he might first look back at the forming of the agency in 1971 as a reminder of the intent Gov. Nelson Rockefeller and the Temporary Commission on the Future of the Adirondacks had for the agency and the park.
