Caesarstone

It seems that low-maintenance quartz surfacing is everywhere. But have you touched large Caesarstone slabs while consulting a pro about its many uses? This brand-new 300-square-metre showroom allows you to do just that. A long wall showcases all 62 varieties, with helpful graphics explaining how to trim the edges to your desired effect. Caesarstone furnishings by top designers – including Tom Dixon stools, and tables from the Stone Age Folk collaboration with Jaime Hayón – dot the intimate seating and kitchen areas. 350 CALDARI RD 416 479 8400 CAESARSTONE.CA

Cambria Gallery

Cambria’s Corktown outpost only showcases the brand’s natural stone surfaces, but staff members are happy to direct visitors to local dealers that carry its quartz slabs sourced from Canadian mines. All of the brand’s lines, including nine just-launched patterns, are on display in kitchen and bath vignettes. Carrick is a dignified new dark-grey offering, while the off-white Swanbridge appears flecked with small shimmering feathers. Princetown, the grandest of the bunch, combines purple, copper and white veining. 91 PARLIAMENT ST 416 363 8801 CAMBRIACANADA.COM

Centura Tile

Upscale North American and European flooring from Mirage, Atlas Concorde and Italgraniti are on full display here. Recent innovations in porcelain mimic radiant white marble, or natural and earthen shades of clay. Artisanal patterns range from decorative Navajo textures to Brazilian wood, replicating the look without the maintenance. The company’s expanded product offerings include laminate, vinyl and carpet. 950 LAWRENCE AVE W 416
