It’s an unseasonably hot morning outside Buckingham Palace, and a towering man in a colourful, fluffy coat, with added rock-star bling in the form of aviator shades and chunky necklaces, is striding towards us. His shirt buttons are undone to the waist, his snakeskin trousers are flared, tight and leave little to the imagination.
