WHEN ASKED WHAT ignited her passion for beading, Karyn says: “Inspiration strikes when you least expect it. In 2004 when my youngest daughter Danika was in year 11, I saw what she was producing in her art studies. That sparked something in me and I remembered back to my primary school days, when I dreamt of being an art teacher. I was always drawing. My Mum taught me how to do profiles of people at a very early age, and she was a natural at drawing women.
