MARK Haywood is a lifelong motorcyclist with a broad interest in makes and models. He is a spray painter by trade and has had a hand in a zillion local motorcycle restorations. He is also a keen motorcycle sportsman as an active member of Logan River Moto Trials Club. All of these things combined to produce the custom Yamaha RZ-1 you see here.

“The Trials season had finished up for summer and it was too hot to ride,” Mark says. “I needed a little project that would stop me being bored. I’m not the sort of person to sit around doing nothing. I have a low boredom threshold!
