So much more than just a convention or car show, SEMA (the Specialty Equipment Market Association) is definitely one of the most important annual car events on the calendar because it’s so huge and because it’s where the automotive world gets together; it’s also a big indicator of where any branch of the automotive world is headed. Because it’s in Las Vegas, SEMA obviously has a strong US bias; however, it’s relevant to every American classic owner because of all the new restoration products and techniques put on display at the show.
We all know Edd China, so we’ll start with his uniquely British take: “I’ve been a few times, but this is my first year with a car on display,” he says, referring to his infamous ‘sofa car’.
