The astrophotography-specific EOS Ra full-frame mirrorless lands this month
The latest Canon camera dedicated to astrophotography goes on sale in December. The EOS Ra uses the same 30.3MP sensor as the EOS R, but with an infrared-cutting filter positioned in front of it. Compared with the standard EOS R, this modification allows for a higher transmission of the deep-red infrared rays emitted by nebulae, without requiring any other specialised optics or accessories.
