PROJECT POLAND PART 1: THE GREAT ESCAPE
These days I'm more Donald Pleasance than Steve McQueen, but having been reared on Victor Comics and rainy afternoon war films, I've long had an interest in World War 11 history. Of all the stories I've heard, it 's those of the prison camps that have intrigued me most and top of that list is Zagan, the camp which inspired the iconic The Great Escape movie, but I'm getting ahead of myself.
A Cunning Plan
It's almost a year since Dan and I test rode Chiselspeed's Quattrini 210 demonstrator. We both fell in love with this revolutionary kit , which is capable of tripling the factory output to 24bhp 'out of the box'. We loved it for different reasons. Dan thought it was an all-out street racer, whilst I considered it pliable enough to make a competent tourer. Over the winter we gathered together the best performance parts on the market and handed them over to Martin and his team at Chiselspeed.
