Leicester Til I Die!

A couple of years after Darren and Liz met they were expecting their first son, and moved into a second-floor flat. "The move made things a bit tricky. I would have put the scooter in the flat but I couldn't get it up the stairs! We were short of cash and so reluctantly it had to go."

Over the next few years Darren and Liz had two more children and Darren started working away from home in the steel construction industry . "They were hard times. I couldn't get to scooter rallies, I couldn't get to see my football team, Leicester City, and I hardly saw my family either."
