SIVANZ made a submission on the governments Clean Car Standard (CCS) and Clean Car Discount (CCD) proposals. The public submissions had to be made by August 20th 2019.

As best as we can tell, SIVANZ was the only national special interest vehicle organisation to submit on behalf of its members.

The Clean Car Standard discussion paper centred on the importation of new and second-hand vehicles. The discussion proposes to import lower emissions vehicles against a reducing CO2 emissions measurement over time.
