WASHINGTON — President Trump’s nominee to lead the Food and Drug Administration, faced with a barrage of questions on Wednesday about his views on youth vaping, pledged “bold action” to address the crisis but demurred when asked directly by U.S. senators whether he supported a wholesale ban on flavored e-cigarette products.
The comments by Dr. Stephen Hahn, the chief medical executive of MD Anderson Cancer Center, came during his confirmation hearing before.
