With Opposition parties accepting the verdict and a key issue on its agenda settled, the BJP will have one less plank to unite the hindu vote in its favour.

On the day that the Supreme Court announced its verdict on the Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid dispute, BJP leader and West Bengal party in-charge Kailash Vijayvargiya expressed surprise that Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has nothing to say on the subject. "It was a historic judgment," he said, "and, surprisingly, there was no reaction from them. Don't do politics on this issue." His colleague and West Bengal BJP chief Dilip Ghosh also questioned Mamata's silence.

However, it wasn't as though Didi didn't respond. Except that she chose her pen to do the talking, saying what she wanted to in a poem titled 'Unsaid'.
