Scattered like leis adrift on a cerulean sea, the islands of French Polynesia never fail to enchant. Craggy pinnacles of black basalt soar skywards; lush and fragrant vegetation cascades down steep slopes to alluring beaches; and coral reefs fringe tiny motu (islets).
