MAKE YOUR OWN HEATED PROPAGATOR

A large heated propagation unit is really useful for raising plants from seed in a protected environment. The taller the unit is, the bigger plants can be allowed to grow before they are hardened off and moved out. This is particularly useful in a cold spring when tender young plants like aubergines, tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers may need to wait a while longer before they are transplanted out into cooler conditions.
