Silver lining…

Last time I asked what could go wrong when lining the fuel tank and to answer that, take a look at Photo 1.

A little piece of bent pipe fixed to the bottom of the tank. What is it? Unfortunately, earlier Hondas often feature this. There is another similar pipe mounted on the other side of the tank and they are joined together by a length of rubber pipe. The aim is to equalise the fuel levels in each side of the tank as for some reason they could not seem to design a tank which did this
