MATERIALS
• 1.8m (2yd) blue tone-on-tone print fabric (Borders 1, 3, 7 and 9, and binding)
• 1.45m (1 5/8yd) blue and white small-scale print fabric (Borders 4–6)
• 1.3m (1 3/8yd) blue and white medium-scale print fabric (Borders 2 and 8)
• 40cm ( 1/2yd) blue spot tone-on-tone print fabric (Kiss blocks, Wiggle blocks, Border 5 and appliqué)
• 80cm ( 7/8yd) mid-green tone-on-tone print fabric (appliqué and Border 8)
• 50cm ( 5/8yd) light green tone-on-tone print fabric (appliqué and Wiggle blocks)
• 25cm ( 1/4yd) pale green tone-on-tone print fabric (Border 2)
• 70cm ( 3/4yd) white quilter’s muslin (centre block)
• 60cm ( 3/4yd) coral print fabric (appliqué and Border 8)
• 50cm ( 1/2yd) light pink floral print fabric (Wiggle blocks)
• 35cm ( 3/8yd) medium pink spot print fabric (Kiss blocks)
• 4m (4 3/8yd) backing fabric
• 15cm ( 1/4yd) pale pink print fabric (Border 2)
• 30cm ( 3/8yd) yellow tone-on-tone print fabric (Kiss blocks, Wiggle blocks and appliqué)
• Batting at least 195cm (77in) square
• Fusible web
• Stranded embroidery cotton in colours to match the appliqué fabrics
• Rotary cutter, ruler and mat
• Sewing machine with 1/4in foot
• General sewing supplies
Finished size: 179cm (70 1/2in) square
Note: Read all the instructions before starting the project. It is recommended that fabrics be 100% cotton, pre-washed and well ironed. Requirements are based on fabric 107cm (42in) wide. Seam allowances of 1/4in are used throughout. Instructions are given for working from the printed Pattern Sheet in the magazine, but you can download the digital patterns from www.homespun.net.au and print them out instead.
