Cog swopping

As those sensible enough to read every issue of this august organ will be aware, I made a very poor judgement in my investment in a two-wheeled triple oil burning stove from my favourite Japanese motorcycle maker, Kawasaki Heavy Industries (KHI).

This was to be a copper-bottomed investment that would grow faster and with less risk than any of my filthy lucre invested in the craven hands of the evil bankers. After less than a couple of hundred miles I realised I had bought a shiny project.

This month I intend to discover why, after considerably less than 200 miles, the tricky triple was jumping out of third gear as soon as asked to accelerate.
