Down the Tube

was just reading in AP 10 August, which is about a black & white image of a guy on a tube train. The text with it highlights how the photographer took the photo secretly and the subject being none the wiser that his photo had been taken. It got me questioning whether the photographer actually got a model release from the guy, as he was the main and only subject of the photo? And what rights did the photographer have to then publish it in a worldwide magazine? It's not even a ‘news' story. It would be really interesting to see an article in AP on photographer/model rights, how
