THE Chinnor & Princes Risborough Railway (CPRR) like many other heritage lines, operated an advertised service on July 25, the day when a new temperature record was set in the UK. And not only did driving a steam engine prove far hotter than normal for the footplate crew, but the track buckled in the heat!
