Kawasaki H2C part 2 Engine out!

I’m back again with my triple nemesis, the pestilent purple pain in the wallet. You’ll recall from last issue, I had only just become corrupted into the satanic coven of triple smokiness, when I got tucked up like the proverbial smoked herring with an uber expensive investment with more faults than a drunk show jumper.

Never mind, if I’d bought a decent one I wouldn’t be writing this! The crazy triples from KHI (Kawasaki Heavy Industries) first hit the streets in 1968 in the form of the Mark III H1. It was a 598cc piston ported inline triple with 60 horses in a bike that only weighed 175 kilos (dry) and could hit the all-important quarter mile in a mere 12.4 seconds at 124mph.
