With the popularity and attention that the Vintage Hot Rod Association’s beach races have attracted over recent years, it was inevitable that changes would follow. For the 2019 event held in the middle of June, the construction of the new museum currently underway, meant that the camping area next to the old museum had gone, as had the grassy assembly area where competing cars were previously assembled and scrutinised.
