    Ihaven’t bought a new motorcycle since 1979. It was my second bike, a MZ TS150 Eagle that I part-exchanged for my Batavus HS50. After stuffing the MZ into a hedge in a bout of late night enthusiasm, each motorcycle since then has been more secondhand than the last.
