However experienced a pilot may be, flights to different places and with high degree of complexity always cause a certain anxiety, since we want everything to occur in the best possible way. Leaving our comfort zone and the places where we are used to fly is indeed a challenge. After all, we will find totally different environments in which, without a suitable training, troubles may occur. That was exactly the sensation I experienced when receiving the mission to transfer a Squirrel AS350 B3+ helicopter (previous version of the current H125) from Brazil to Chile, having to fly over the mystic Andes mountain range.
