FRAME:
The sleek aluminium bridge frame is all-new and lighter, saving a whopping 1.3kg over its predecessor. The geometry is also sharper (the steering head angle is 0.4° steeper and the castor reduced to 93.9mm), and the swingarm unit is now under braced (like you’ll find on most factory racing swinging-arms) and longer for added stability. The tubular subframe saves another 300grams from the mix and bolsters support at the rear, while the front-end weight bias of the bike has seen a move from 52.3% to 53.8%.
