    When was the club founded?

    In the 1970s there were two clubs in Sherborne, Dorset: the Sherborne Photographic Society and Sherborne Camera Club. The former was having difficulty finding a venue, so came to Bradford Abbas Village Hall (a small village just outside Sherborne) in September 1983. At their AGM in 1984 it was decided to rename the club Bradford Abbas Camera Club which it remained until 1992. The
