Fine-tuning the Dapol Class 73

DAPOL’S super detailed ‘OO’ gauge Class 73 model was widely welcomed by Southern Electric modellers and with little surprise, given that its detailing, particularly around the bogies and underframes, is exquisite, being assembled from a large number of accurate mouldings. This has resulted in a superb appearance with considerable depth to these areas of the model. The body is also finely detailed with etched metal grilles and the cab perfectly adorned with the correct jumper cables and neatly moulded brake pipes.
