Why would you join a motorcycle club?

What do they deliver? How good are the services they offer and are clubs of any kind actually relevant to this caustic, hubris filled, second-is-first-loser, fiscally motivated world of ours?

I ask in all innocence because many societies, groups or fellowships are struggling for members let alone volunteer workers.
