    Audi’s first all-electric car is here, and it’s an SUV, which surprised us, but that shape gives it plenty of space to pack in the tech. The e-tron is built to go the distance, with a range of 248 miles, plus fast charging at up to 150kW, which means you can get an 80 per cent charge in half an hour, or 100 per cent in 50 minutes.

    It’s driven by two electric motors – one dedicated to the front wheels, one to the rear – giving it classic Audi Quattro four-wheel drive. The snappiness of electric motors is put to good use too: despite being a nearly five-metre SUV, it can do 0-62mph in under six seconds. The motors have a Boost Mode to help with overtaking or the need to suddenly escape from enemy black ops teams – they can develop a tidy 402bhp for up to ten seconds when you
