Counters & caps!

The rev counter would be a prominent feature on my RC374 and I wanted it to look in keeping with the original item, so my plan was to make one from scratch.

I had found a few photos to work from and there were also some good images in my model maker’s reference book. The original Honda six engine had a mechanical cable drive for the rev counter and I had already looked into fitting a cable drive when I was making the engine. However that would increase the overall width of the head so I decided I would use an electronic movement in my rev counter
