Anchors a-way!
This month I shall initially turn my attention to the rear brake, more particularly the master cylinder reservoir.
I couldn’t find any bikes with an attractive rear remote fluid container that would look right on a bike of this nature, so I then had to look for a mass produced ‘custom’ item.
They seemed to be either stupendously expensive or very cheap, but all seemed to be geared up to a very small bore pipe to feed the master cylinder. I had previously had a bad experience with a cheap plastic reservoir with anodised top I fitted to a chopper for a chap that looked fine, but sadly leaked. This time we went for a plain anodised aluminium one, and while one can’t see the fluid level without removing the lid, at least it won’t leak.
First, I had to make up a bush the same outside diameter as the corresponding inlet
