Fuel’s gold?

Dear , about the fuel issue: this matter was covered very well a few months ago in – your sister title. So perhaps could write up a more detailed article aligned to ‘modern’ machinery, i.e., 1970s/1980s etc. One elderly later wrote to say that Esso had no intention of using ethanol in its Premium range, so perhaps this could be clarified for your readers too? Perhaps you could also highlight the rise in the use of petrol additives too, which ones are recommended etc. Apparently ethanol can also have an adverse impact on the durability of existing fuel lines on older machinery: another area to consider as part of any future article?
