Adobe unveils a ‘real’ version of Photoshop CC for the iPad, complete with layers and masks
At its annual Adobe Max conference, the creative software company announced a string of innovations and improvements to its Creative Cloud products. Photoshop CC, for example, gets a Content-Aware Fill upgrade, allowing you to select the source area for the fill. along with live Blending mode effects and an overall boost to usability (dubbed ‘workflow velocity’).
The big news from the event, however, is that ‘real’ Photoshop CC is coming to a whole range of devices – starting with the iPad. Adobe’s dream is that you will be able to open and edit a PSD file on an iPad and then carry on working on it seamlessly on your desktop computer – and vice versa.
