BATHROOMS

COMPOSED CALMNESS

“This bathroom was in need of an update to complement the other recent renovations in the home. The result is a stylish and simple design that uses an excellent layout and finishes to work within the limited available space. An overall feeling of calm is achieved with a muted palette and minimalist finishes. Several design considerations were required with the door and window both custom made and placement of a new entry to the laundry. The freestanding bathtub is perfectly placed under the low, long window, with a custom wide frame used to create a window ledge. This creates a peaceful view while soaking and allows an abundance of light to flow in. The vanity features on-trend finishes such as a matte black mixer and lacquered American white oak top. The contrasting textures are expertly balanced with the subway-tiled feature wall, which is further complemented by a simple frameless shower screen, to ensure the space does not become overwhelmed or boxed in. Overall, the bathroom feels spacious and functional, complete with stylish finishes to create a haven at home.
