Animals and Art

For Fiona Groom, animals have always been a love and focus of hers. “I can remember as a child, cutting out and pasting lots of animal pictures into my scrapbooks as well as tracing and drawing my favourite animals; horses and dogs.” These animals were always treasured, along with tigers and other wild creatures.

It was from these humble beginnings that a passion for creating animal life portraits developed and over the years, her painting style has truly evolved.
