Dream Car 1940 FORD DELUXE CONVERTIBLE

For over forty-five years the car I always wanted was a 1940 Ford Deluxe convertible. Lance Railsback, an average street rodder, not hot rodder growing up, calling his freshly restored brandy red forty Ford his “Dream Car” for over thirty years now. Some hot rodders or street rodders are in love with their car. His true love is Nancy, his wife of forty-five years. Better known as “Sunshine.” Lance grew up with cars. Cruising Whitter Boulevard in Southern California. The middle of three brothers, older brother Craig and their younger brother Scott. All three have an interest in cars. Growing up the 1960s and having a car was cool, and they had cars of their own. In 1969 the brothers started a company called Blower Drive Service Co., known as “BDS” in the Southern California area.
