The Tale of Two Traditional Rods

The art world is well known for having a particular name for any style of art. Whether it is abstract, baroque, or modern, the art community is always quick to label a work of art as a particular style. Similarly, we do the same thing within the hot rodding community, which is fitting, considering how these cars are works of art as well. Need an example? We are pretty sure that at some point you have probably uttered the term traditional, high tech, or resto-rod. None the less, sometimes the lines become blurred between these categories. We have all seen a street rod with a traditional look or what could be described as a high tech custom. While defining these terms can be somewhat challenging, we seem to know how to apply them once we see the car.
