18 sts by 24 rows over St st on 5.00mm needles to 10cm

Using 5.00mm needles, cast on 81 (91, 101, 111) sts.

Row 1: RS – K1, *P1, K1; rep from * to end.

Row 2: WS – P1, *K1, P1; rep from * to end.

These 2 rows form K1, P1 rib pattern.

Cont in K1, P1 rib patt until band measures 10cm, ending on a WS row.

Working in St st for rem, work straight until length (from beg) measures 30cm, ending on a WS row.
