It’s time for a little admission first: I’m not that keen on single-cylinder four-strokes. Two-stroke singles, I love, trail bikes; ditto. So while I still reminisce about my Kawasaki KMX125 learner bike and lust after a KMX200 to potter about on, my fire is not quite that lit by four-stroke, thumping singles.

I guess I’m a product of my generation. Maybe Scoop (or someone a tad older) still looks back lustfully at old Brit thumpers. We know Honda did or they wouldn’t have made the GB500.
