My 1975 Honda C70 project is complete! It may not have been as straightforward as predicted in my last piece but after many additional hours of head scratching and sucking of teeth I’m very happy with the end result.

This coincided with a recent announcement from Honda that over 100 million Super Cubs have now been produced since 1958. What’s even more incredible, in the UK at least, is that these simple little machines are as desirable as ever and no matter what their age or condition are still holding strong residual values.

And I have first-hand evidence of magazine feature. Since that shoot it had been mainly used for drunken garden stunts before ending its days as a rebuild reference and donor bike for my current project.
