Every now and then a bike appears that hits the perfect balance between power and handling, making it an absolute joy to ride. The Ducati 848 is one such bike. As well as looking fabulous (especially in pearlescent white), on flowing roads this minisportsbike from Bologna feels just so ‘right’ to ride that it is almost impossible not to fall under its spell. And considering you can now find a really good condition early generation model for less than £5,000, it is also bordering on bargain status to boot!
