HISTORICAL CAPTION CORRECTIONS

IN the interests of historical accuracy, I would like to offer the following amendments to a couple of captions in recent supplements sent out with Rail Express.

In the ‘Blue & Grey Years’ (October issue), I thought the northbound ‘Deltic’ with the 08.00 King’s Cross to Edinburgh at Newcastle captioned as being opposite a Class 40 on a train to East Anglia seemed wrong.
