Egan Mastin had an MX Nationals season that played out like a fairy tale. Hard work and solid results all season culminated in a final-round showdown: three points shy of Championship leader Wilson Todd heading into the final round, Mastin won both motos and along with them the 2017 MX Nationals MX2 Championship. The fact it was all accomplished on a two-stroke just added to the story. A well supported but essentially privateer effort had put together a bike that was worthy of a championship. Here’s what I thought of the bike.
