Un-Bee-lievable

Whenever conversation turns to Mopars, it’s often the late Sixties models that first spring to mind. Famed for their countless film and TV appearances, it’s hardly surprising, but it also means the Seventies Mopars are often overlooked. Times are a-changing though, and as prices of the Sixties models increase dramatically, the pre-’73 Mopars are now becoming highly sought after. And top of the list for those in need of one was long time Mopar fan, Simon Rogers, who was keen to bag himself a ’71 car. Now, you might well assume that anyone with a desire for a ’71 must really be hankering after a Sixties car, but they haven’t quite got the budget, yet that’s certainly not the case here, as Simon had already experienced the earlier models, having owned a ’69 Charger and a ’68 Superbee for well over a decade in total.
