I MOVE INTO MY CURRENT HOME ABOUT FOUR YEARS AGO. IT'S ON A BUSY ROAD IN THE CAPE TOWN CITY CENTRE, PERCHED ON THE SLOPE OF LION'S HEAD AND LOOKING ONTO TABLE MOUNTAIN. It was on the market for a long time, probably due to the desperate state it was in. The property had been covered in concrete, and the Victorian house had been turned into a series of poky office spaces without any logic or soul.
